If there was anything that the Memphis Tigers needed most on the gridiron, it was a quarterback.  Last year, Taylor Cook transferred to Rice and super freshman Ryan Williams decided to head to Miami, leaving the Tigers in dire need of a signal caller.  Their prayers were answered in the form of Wake Forest transfer Skylar Jones, a nice athlete who will be eligible to play right away.

Jones never really found a fit with the Demon Deacons and while he is far from a polished passer, he at least gives Larry Porter and the Tigers something with which to work.
