Carlton Thomas to sit out opener

If there was ever a situation where someone got the job before the interview, it is the case of running back Isaiah Crowell at Georgia.  The bodies keep piling up and all Crowell needs to do is just step over them.  Washaun Ealey left for Jacksonville State, Caleb King left for the NFL supplemental draft, and now Carlton Thomas has been suspended for the season opener against Boise State.  Thomas will sit out the game for a violation of team rules incurred during the spring.

Thomas wasn't going to make a run for the starting job anyways, but this all makes Crowell's stock all that much higher.
