Washington defensive coordinator Nick Holt took a look at his defense in a recent radio interview, noting several frosh who could make an impact -- defensive tackle Danny Shelton, safety John Samples and cornerback Marcus Peters -- as well how the summer has been going overall. Sophomore defensive tackle Sione Potoa'e has been slowed by some knee issues this summer.
Perhaps the most interesting thing Holt said was that the Huskies defensive line looks like a Pac-12 defensive line for the first time. He noted the gains the program had made in three years and the D-line was a product of that.
