After booting Anthony Oden off the team for a DUI, Arkansas is losing two more football players in Jatashun Beachum and Denton Simek. Both players redshirted last year and were moved to a new position. Beachum moved from running back to the defensive line while Simek started at center and was transitioning to tight end. The reason behind their departures is unknown at this time. In related news Petrino's son, Dominic Petrino, could be in danger of losing his spot on the team after being arrested on alcohol and drug charges.
It looks like Bobby Petrino is cleaning house before the NCAA does and it is for the best. While Oden would have been a contributor, there is always someone who is willing to take your place.
