Stanford's defense was the most improved in the nation a year ago, a key component in helping quarterback Andrew Luck and the offense with field position and scoring opportunities. GoStanford.com looks at the inside linebacker spot and all-American candidate Shayne Skov in an interesting piece.

The question for Skov and Co. on defense is can they take the improvement of 2010 and keep it going in 2011? Skov and his defensive mates are a hardworking group with improving talent, so their continued high level of play is a key ingredient for Luck and his offensive mates.
