With the influx of talent coming to Clemson, offensive coordinator Chad Morris has not pulled any punches when telling his existing players that they need to step up or lose their spots. "Going to practices this spring, I was very surprised with our lack of speed" says Morris who is looking to shake things up. Morris sees glimpses in Bryce McNeal, DeAndre Hopkins, and Jaron Brown but needs them to be more consistent to hold off the youth movement.
Hopkins will likely hold down his spot after snagging it himself as a freshman, but expect Sammy Watkins, Charone Peake, and Mike Bellamy to make a splash right away.
