Oregon State WR James Rodgers tweeted some good news to people Thursday -- saying that he ran some routes and did some running while at home in Texas. As stated in the story, it's the first public pronouncement from Rodgers in months regarding his rehab from a serious knee injury last year.
Rodgers was granted a sixth year of eligibility, but coach Mike Riley doesn't want him in the lineup until he's near his old self. Rodgers said he's been working hard to get back to full health for this season. Good news about the running, but there's still a ways to go before he's game ready or close to the Rodgers of old.
