Oklahoma State back-up quarterback Johnny Deaton will transfer to Northeastern State University according to the Tahlequah Daily Press. He will be immediately eligible to play since Northeastern State is a Division II program.
Deaton transferring was no secret; it was just a matter of where he'd end up. Since he's now in D2, look for Deaton to be near the top of many Division II draft boards...if there are such things.
