A source from Oklahoma State reported that sophomore quarterback Nathan Sorenson will transfer. Offensive lineman Javius Townsend is also expected to leave the program before August 4, the start of preseason camp.
It seems a bit peculiar that Johnny Deaton and Sorenson, both of whom are sophomores and QBs, would transfer from OSU in the same week. Perhaps they knew they would not surpass Clint Chelf in the quarterback depth chart during their time at Oklahoma State.
