While rumors swirled and were put to bed that LSU wide receiver Russell Shepard was missing from the SEC Media Days because of a suspension, it appears Shepard could have another issue. Shepard is dealing with a complinace concern from the NCAA related to rent payment agreements with a woman who is in the Tigers' football office.
If Shepard is found to have done anything wrong, you can bet the NCAA or the school will certainly make him miss at least the opener against Oregon. With such a big game so early in the season, the Tigers can scarce afford to miss one of their fastest targets.
