Wolfpack lose starting CB for 2nd year

For the second straight year, North Carolina State cornerback Jarvis Byrd will miss the season with a torn ACL.  Byrd was listed as the starting boundary corner on the preseason depth chart before tearing his ACL, opposite of the one he tore a year prior, and will have to sit out the 2011 season.

Anytime you lose a starting corner it has to hurt, but this must kill Byrd to have to sit out once again.  Hopefully Byrd can fully recover and continue to defend passes for NC State in the future.
