Last year Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray would look downfield for the pass and if he didn't see something, he would just take off running. While he made quite a few plays doing so, he is expected to sit in the pocket more this season. Mark Richt commented on this saying "I think Murray will make more plays from the pocket than maybe he did a year ago. He’ll be more apt to stay in there and throw it rather than take off or make something happen with his wheels."
Murray was very productive as a redshirt freshman and even without A.J. Green, he should be one of the top quarterbacks in the SEC this year.
