Chris Polk told reporters at the Pac-12 media day that he needs to accept his leadership role for the Washington Huskies. One of the best running backs in the Pac-12, Polk said he can't simply stand in the back of the room and be quiet anymore.
Polk will probably be called on even more now that QB Jake Locker has departed. Expect him to touch the ball more as Washington breaks in Keith Price at quarterback. And that's a good thing -- Polk touching the ball more.
