Third-year Wyoming HC Dave Christensen said the quarterback battle between freshmen Brett Smith and Adam Pittser will rage into the fall. With Austin Carta-Samuels leaving the program, the quarterback position will be very green this year.
Christensen gave no indication as to who is leading the quarterback competition. Smith and Pittser appear to be in a dead heat for the job and could very well share the position depending on who is playing well at that moment.
