Tulsa backup Quarterback Shavodrick Beaver is leaving the University of Tulsa and expects to enroll at Midwestern State University in his hometown of Wichita Falls, Texas.
According to a school release Beaver was scheduled to sit out the upcoming season as an academic redshirt anyway in 2011. No matter who takes over, barring an injury, G.J. Kinne is locked in as one of the best fantasy quarterbacks entering 2011.
