Oregon State coach Mike Riley said that freshmen running backs Storm Woods and Malcolm Agnew will be given a chance to compete for the starting running back slot. With Jacquizz Rodgers off to the NFL, the race to be the Beavers go-to back is in full swing -- and the freshmen are legitimate contenders.

Both backs are three-star recruits and Riley said at the time of their signing that they'd get a shot. The running back role appears to be a RBBC situation at this point, but the hope is that someone rises up and grabs this job early. Woods and Agnew will get a shot.
