South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier remarked on his team's speed, singling out Shon Carson, Damiere Byrd, Shamier Jeffery and Bruce Ellington. The team also got speedy linebacker Shaq Wilson back from a hamstring injury.
The SEC is full of speedy players so to keep the field level, Spurrier needs to field some blazers. Look for Carson to make a difference as a complement to the more bruising Marcus Lattimore.
