Beaver receivers will need to step forward

Oregon State coach Mike Riley said that with a wave of uncertainty surrounding wide receiver James Rodgers' surgically-reparied knee, he expects his starting receiver corps to Markus Wheaton, Jordan Bishop and Darrell Catchings.

Rodgers is a dynamic player, but Wheaton, Bishop and Catchings have all had their moments for the Beavers. Now, they have a chance to step up and become consistently productive receivers for quarterback Ryan Katz.
