The Patriot-News, citing a report on 247sports.com, claims that Penn State quarterback Kevin Newsome has decided to transfer.
This was speculated on back in December, so it's no shocker as Newsome was an odd-man-out in the race to start. What is surprising, is the lack of quarterback depth in Happy Valley. Paul Jones is ineligible, leaving Matt McGloin and Robert Bolden as viable starters. And Bolden hasn't exactly been happy as a clam during his stint.
