Tanner Burns started his career at San Jose State, transferred to Kansas State, and is now headed to Ole Miss. In 2009, Burns provided a team-leading 96 tackles for the Spartans. Burns will not be eligible until 2012.
Burns excelled in the WAC but it remains to be seen if he can hack it in the toughest conference in the nation. If nothing else, he can add quality depth.
