Clemson freshman wide receivers Sammy Watkins and Charone Peake worked out with the second unit in their first practice in upstate South Carolina.
DeAndre Hopkins is the only sure thing here in the wide receiver rotation. Watkins especially, but both rookies should pass Jaron Brown and Marquan Jones sooner than later. Watkins makes a reasonable late round selection in BCS leagues. This offense is dead set on 80 plays per game, so there will be plenty of opportunities for production. Interesting that the article doesn't mention the third rookie receiver, Martavis Bryant.
