Tulsa Quarterback Kalen Henderson is extremely appreciative that the school gave him a shot to redeem himself following being suspended indefinitely from the football team last April.
The reason for his suspension was never identified by the school, but with the departure of Shavodrick Bonner, if anything were to happen to G.J. Kinne, Henderson is the leading candidate to gain instant value. Come 2012 Henderson will battle Nebraska transfer Cody Green for the Tulsa starting Quarterback job.
