Syracuse sophomore kicker Ross Krautman, who had an outstanding freshman campaign for the Orange, is looking ahead instead of back in 2011. Krautman, who made 16 straight kicks at one point, finished 18 for 19 on field goals as he was named Second Team All-Big East and a Freshman All-America.
Kickers tend to naturally get a boost when they kick indoors, but Krautman was outstanding everywhere last season. Syracuse should be improved offensively, which will likely mean even more opportunities for the sophomore.
