Wyoming coach Dave Christensen has decreed his young quarterbacks, Brett Smith and Adam Pittser, off-limits to the media in fall camp. With no quarterback on the roster that was on the active roster a year ago, the Cowboys are starting from scratch and Christensen wants to limit distractions.
Smith had the edge out of spring camp, but it's clear that the battle is still raging to be the Wyoming quarterback. And, most likely, these two will each have moments this season. This one most likely will go down to the week of the opener before a starter is named.
