Oregon announced after Monday's practice that former quarterback Daryle Hawkins had been moved to wide receiver. This isn't a particularly stunning development as Hawkins has played a fair amount of wide receiver the last two years -- in addition to quarterback and running back.
Coach Chip Kelly said that staff felt that wide receiver was the most likely spot that Hawkins could make an impact with the team. Given the hunt for productive receivers, it's a good move for Hawkins.
