Michigan State coaches are impressed with freshman quarterback Connor Cook. MSU quarterback coach Dave Warner has taken note of Cook's ability to make things happen with his feet.
It's been assumed that Andrew Maxwell would be next in line to replace Kirk Cousins under center for the Spartans. However Cook is definitely going to have something to say about this. At one point it was believed that Nick Foles would be the next MSU signal caller, so things don't always go as planned. Next spring will see an interesting battle in East Lansing.
