UConn still has depth at receiver

One area of interest for the Connecticut Huskies is the wide receiver position, one that really struggled for much of last season. But in spite of personnel losses such as Gerrard Sheppard (transfer) and Leon Kinnard (transfer to Towson) the Huskies have depth. Senior Kashif Moore is expected to lead the way along with Isaiah Moore, and redshirt freshmen Tebucky Jones and Geremy Davis have pushed the vets.

Simply put the Huskies need playmakers here. It was painfully obvious in big games (such as the Fiesta Bowl) that UConn didn't have the receivers to make a difference, but the quarterback situation didn't help either. Moore and company will need to be at their best this season to help out whoever wins the starting quarterback job.
