Another wide receiver has left the UConn program, with Gerrard Sheppard deciding to transfer to Towson (same move that Leon Kinnard made last week). Sheppard had trouble breaking through under Randy Edsall and that was also the case under new head coach Paul Pasqualoni, resulting in his move for more playing time.
UConn is still deep at receiver despite the transfers, so they should be fine from a depth standpoint. But who are the playmakers? Those guys will need to step up early and often this season.
