Injuries played a major role in the performance of USF offensively in 2010 as Sterling Griffin (dislocated ankle) and A.J. Love (torn ACL) both missed the entire season. But now that both are back to full strength the Bulls should be more effective in the passing game. The position, which head coach Skip Holtz referred to last year as "The Land of Misfit Toys" should be much stronger in 2011.
USF had to play converted quarterbacks (Evan Landi), running backs (Lindsey Lamar, Joel Miller) and defensive backs (Terrence Mitchell) last year due to the injuries but that isn't a concern this year. Adding Griffin and Love to Landi and the rest of the corps should mean a better passing game.
