Iowa State sophomore quarterback James Capello is transferring to Tiffin University.
Capello was slated to be third or fourth on the depth chart heading into the season, and even though coach Paul Rhoads said it was an open competition for starting quarterback, Capello must have felt the arrival of JUCO transfer Steele Jantz would bury him.
