Arizona State's defense continues to be plagued with nicks. Coach Dennis Erickson saw Wednesday's morning session go off without defensive tackle Will Sutton (headache), defensive end Junior Onyeali (strained rib-cage muscle), offensive tackle Evan Finkenberg (hamstring), safety Keelan Johnson (shoulder) and cornerback Devan Spann (shoulder). Four of the five are defensive players.

Erickson must kind of be wondering what's going on in his world. However, none of these injuries are thought to be serious, just the kind of stuff that happens in camp. These guys should be back soon.
