Oregon State starting linebacker Michael Doctor missed Thursday's practice with what was described as a full body cramp. According to coach Mike Riley, Doctor didn't hydrate himself well Wednesday, which resulted in the severe cramping after practice and forced him to miss Thursday's workout.

Doctor is expected to recover and learn from his lack of hydration. He's a quick, hard-hitting linebacker who will be counted on to shore up a run defense that, at times in 2010, didn't stop much up the middle.
