West Virginia finally has a third quarterback. Walk-on Ian Loy, who transferred to WVU from Potomac College of WVU in January but left the team, has returned . He was not in pads (or a jersey for that matter) on Thursday due to NCAA rules that require all players to take two days before they don pads.
Loy's return adds another body to the position, but simply put if he takes the field for significant reps during the season then things have gone terribly wrong for the Mountaineers.
