According to a press release, the Texas Tech defense showed that it has addressed it's biggest problem from a year ago and recorded 12 sacks in Saturday's scrimmage.
The defensive line was a weakness for the Red Raiders last season, but JUCO transfer and defensive end Leon Mackey made his presence felt by recording two sacks Saturday along with linemen Donte Phillips and Cooper Washington.
