New Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas went 4-of-8 for 79 yards and an interception in today's first scrimmage.

Quarterbacks coach Mike O'Cain stated "I'm glad we've got 15 or so more practices before (a game), because he's got a lot of work to do."  No need to press the panic button here, just understand that Thomas is raw, and will be a work in progress out of the gates.  In other Hokie QB news, Ricardo Young has decided to transfer, and Mark Leal led the team today with 116 yards passing, further cementing himself as QB2.
