Wildcat backup QB injures knee

Arizona backup quarterback Bryson Beirne hurt his knee in practice and will have an MRI to determine the damage. Coach Mike Stoops said Beirne has played well in practice and his loss would be big.

Obviously, Stoops has some confidence in his backup, so if Nick Foles were to go down, the Wildcats could be in some big trouble. We'll know more about Beirne's knee issue in the days ahead.
