Cincinnati returns some key figures on the offensive side of the football, but some freshmen are making their presence known in fall camp. Two of those players are running back Jameel Poteat and wide receiver Shaq Washington, and both are on their way to earning opportunities once the games begin.

In Cincinnati's spread attack the more receivers the better, which could be a good thing for Washington. As for Poteat, Isaiah Pead will be the feature back but the freshman should be right there for the remaining reps with Darrin Williams having left the team due to injuries.
