It wasn't just the wide receivers who had issues last week for West Virginia. The kicking game also drew the ire of head coach Dana Holgorsen, and the Mountaineers are working hard to rectify the situation. Kicker Tyler Bitancurt and long snapper Cody Nutter are the constants, while Michael Molinari has replaced Jeremy Kash as holder.
Coach Holgorsen wants kicks to be away within 1.3 seconds, and when the pieces of the operation aren't fully adjusted to each other a tenth of a second could be the difference between a made kick and a blocked one. Bitancurt, who had his moments last season, could be an intriguing pickup in BCS-only leagues.
