Virginia Tech running back Josh Oglesby remains the top backup behind starter David Wilson. Oglesby's absence from recent scrimmages is in order to get young guys like Michael Holmes some reps.
Wilson is projected to have a big year, but if he goes down to injury, Oglesby will be the first off the bench. Keep that in mind if something happens to Wilson.
