Ben Malena and Mister Jones are still competing for third on the running back depth chart for Texas A&M, and coach Mike Sherman says the job will go to whoever can cut down on their fumbles.
With Cyrus Gray continuing to nurse a tweaked hamstring, this could be an important spot to earn. Sherman has been getting fed up with the amount of fumbling in fall practice, but otherwise, Melana and Jones have had good camps.
