Syracuse redshirt freshman wide receiver Jarrod West is one of the players who stands to gain reps with Marcus Sales indefinitely suspended. But if he can't become more consistent the playmaker won't be able to take full advantage of the opportunity.
West could be a key downfield presence for the Orange if he brings the effort on a daily basis. Van Chew and Nick Provo (just to name two pass catchers) will need help from the likes of West this season.
