Chris Polk may miss opener

Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports that Washington coach Steve Sarkisian said that running back Chris Polk (arthroscopic surgery on meniscus) could "potentially" miss the season opener while he recovers.  Sarkisian said his star back could be out a couple of weeks but "thinks he'll be back in no time."

Drop Polk down your draft boards a bit. While there's every reason to believe Sarkisian and his downplaying of this injury, this was surgery. And if push comes to shove, do you think they'll risk their offensive star in a game against Eastern Washington? And this is a game where those that drafted Polk would be looking for something along the lines of 150-2.
