Virginia freshman running back Clifton Richardson is having an impressive camp, and doesn't appear as if he'll be redshirting.
I've been high on Richardson since he originally committed to the Cavaliers, mostly thanks to his size. Apparently head coach Mike London agrees. The 'Hoos desperately need a bigger back to pair with the 5-foot-8 Perry Jones (and his back up, 5-foot-8 Kevin Parks) and Richardson's 6 foot, 215 pound frame is just that. Richardson won't come close to matching Keith Payne's scoring from a year ago, but he has the look and feel of a future feature back.
