Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas went 7-of-15 for 73 yards in Saturday's scrimmage. He had one touchdown and one interception.
Thomas' combined numbers now sit at 11-of-23 for 152 yards and two interceptions. Hardly something to get excited about, especially while backup Mark Leal continues to earn the coaching staff's praises. Thomas is certainly not in any danger of losing his job, but it's looking like there will be some serious growing pains. Thomas' running ability keeps him in the upper tier of ACC signal callers, but just barely. I'd let someone else deal with this potential.
