UAB kickers Ty Long and Colin Anderson are battling it out to be the starting kicker for the Blazers.
The kicking game cost UAB two games last year so it was good to see Long make kicks from 36, 30, 39 and 24 yards and Anderson making three 36-yard field goals before missing a 43-yard attempt during yesterday's scrimmage. Whoever wins the job will have plenty of scoring chances in this high-scoring offense.
