Kansas running back Deshaun Sands was arrested Saturday night on a warrant for missing a June court date related to an April misdemeanor for disturbing the peace.
Sands was expected to challenge to be the backup to James Sims, but his legal troubles quickly led to him falling out of the race and resulted in a suspension. He was also arrested last October for speeding and failing to appear in court, so this might be the last straw.
