UAB star running back Pat Shed will be out 2-3 weeks because of an unspecified injury, and his status is now in doubt for the Blazers opener against Florida on September 10.
Shed is one of the top all-around threats in the country with his combination of running and receiving abilities, and this would be a huge blow to the offense. For now take a look at Darrin Reaves and Dontavius Jackson who will battle to start against the Gators and maybe longer into the season.
