Marshall is one of youngest teams in country

Entering the 2011 Marshall is likely to not redshirt as many as 17 freshman, which would be two short of the 19 Air Force did not redshirt which was a high in 2010.

This highlights just how young and inexperienced the team is, especially on offense, where Rakeem Cato, Eric Frohnapfel, Craig Wilkins and Remi Watson will all make an impact.  Frohnapfel is a tight end that may start for the Herd opener at West Virginia, Shuler is Cato's best friend from high school, and Watson projects as the teams third running back.  While the team will surely experience struggles in growth, these name may have a serious impact in Conference USA in the coming years.
