California receiver Kaelin Clay was finally in full pads and practicing Friday. Clay has been sidelined for three weeks and coach Jeff Tedford said Clay will have to show him something to be eligible to play in the opener.
Clay got off to a fast start in fall camp and looked like a guy who was going to make an impact before his injury. When he's healthy, he could be a nice addition to Keenan Allen and Marvin Jones in the receiving corps.
