Even after Friday's practice, the UAB kicking job is up for grabs between Ty Long and Colin Anderson.
The duo combined to make 5-of-7 field goal attempts. Long had made field goals from 28, 28 and 42 yards and missed from 30 yards. Anderson was good from 27 and 42 yards and missed from 28 yards. Keep an eye on this kicking battle as the team will earn plenty of scoring opportunities. But they do have a week one bye before facing Florida.
